Hydraulic briquetting presses

Hydraulic briquette presses from Watz Hydraulik offer you a cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution to convert process residue into valuable secondary raw materials. The range of applications is highly diverse: recycling, reclamation of valuable materials, dewatering, degreasing, etc.

The quantities of waste products such as grinding sludge and metal swarf resulting from production processes are not negligible. These are valuable raw materials that must ultimately be disposed of at great expense. Using the pressing process, swarf is collected separately from cooling lubricant and shaped into high density, manageable briquettes. This upgraded swarf can be sold to waste disposal companies but with far greater proceeds than previously obtainable. The separated cooling lubricants are generally fed back in the cooling lubricant circulation system.

This recycling saves up to 95% of fresh oil—a considerable reduction in costs as well as encouraging responsible behavior towards both humans and the environment.
The hydraulic briquette presses can be ideally combined with Faudi filtration plants. All commercially available filtration plants from other manufacturers can of course be subsequently equipped with briquette presses to complete cooling lubricant processing.
